We Are All Hoomans: A Simple Approach To Onboarding Your Outsourced Team

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀!!!

My daughter used to say this a lot when she was two years old. It’s quite amusing but I can’t help but think about it whenever anyone asks me about how to start working with their outsourced team.

When employing a team member via outsourcing, the best thing you can do is onboard them in the same way that you onboard an internal hire! After all, we are all Hoomans!

 

So regardless of where a team member physically sits, we all need to understand:

✅ the purpose of what the organisation is doing

✅ the values of the organisation

✅ and how the team comes together

 

Without these things, one simply won’t understand the importance of their role! Whether they are internally hired or outsourced, it’s important to communicate how their contributions fit into the larger goals of your organization and ensure they have a solid grasp of why their work matters.
