Today is an incredibly exciting day for SMSF Paraplanners! In fact, effective today we are ceasing to trade as SMSF Paraplanners, as we are rebranded Qwrk Outsourcing.
SMSF Paraplanners: How it started
SMSF Paraplanners has been in existence since October 2010. When Jo set the company up, it was literally Jo, preparing Statement of Advice documents for a handful of advisers. There were only a handful of outsourced Paraplanning companies in existence at the time and no one specialised in the SMSF space. Jo paired her passion for SMSFs with her passion for paraplanning and SMSF Paraplanners was born.
The demand for outsourced paraplanning grew quickly, and in 2014, Jo recognised that continuing to grow at such a rate, with increasing wage pressure for Australian based paraplanning, was not a sustainable model. It was then that Jo paired with another start up – who focussed on Financial Planning Administration, to bring a new career- Paraplanning, into Cebu, Philippines.
A Passionate Journey of Growth
Fast forward 9 years and the services and team have greatly expanded.
SMSF Paraplanners now have more than 110 team members; the services offered from Cebu have expanded and now include Financial Planning Administration delivered through the Client Services team; Lending Assistants for Mortgage Broking clients, Compliance Officers supporting Financial Planning practices and of course where it all started Outsourced Paraplanning services.
Whilst SMSF strategies and advice remain a passion of Jo’s, SMSF Paraplanners have adapted and extended our services, illustrating our true commitment to partnering with our Financial Planning practices and their changing needs.

Qwrk: More than just quality work
We believe the new name- Qwrk (short for Quality Work) Outsourcing far better represents what we have grown to become.
We are incredibly proud of the journey we have taken so far under the SMSF Paraplanners brand, but even more excited for where Qwrk Outsourcing will take us in the years ahead!
